Pedal coordinates and free double linkage
Petr Blaschke, Filip Blaschke, Martin Blaschke

TL;DR
This paper explores the use of pedal coordinates to analyze the orbits of a free double linkage, revealing unexpected links to black hole orbits and dark Kepler problem solutions through geometric constructions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel geometric approach using pedal coordinates to study double linkage orbits and uncovers surprising connections to astrophysical phenomena.
Findings
Geometric construction of double linkage orbits
Connection to black hole orbital dynamics
Relation to Dark Kepler problem solutions
Abstract
Using the technique of pedal coordinates we investigate the orbits of a free double linkage. We provide a geometrical construction for them and also show a surprising connection between this mechanical system and orbits around a Black Hole and solutions of Dark Kepler problem.
