TL;DR
This paper calculates the $L_{10}$ constant in a composite Higgs model to estimate the $S$ parameter contribution, showing it aligns with experimental bounds, and discusses future research directions.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of the $L_{10}$ constant in a prototype composite Higgs model with dynamical fermions in two representations.
Findings
The $S$ parameter contribution is consistent with current experimental bounds.
The model's vacuum misalignment parameter remains within acceptable limits.
The study offers insights into the viability of composite Higgs models.
Abstract
We have calculated the low-energy constant in a prototype composite Higgs model with dynamical fermions in two different representations of the gauge group. The resulting contribution of the new strong sector to the parameter is consistent with current bounds on the vacuum misalignment parameter. We end with a brief discussion of future directions.
