Classical string solutions in Non-Relativistic AdS$_5\times$S$^5$: Closed and Twisted sectors
Andrea Fontanella, Juan Miguel Nieto Garc\'ia

TL;DR
This paper constructs classical string solutions in non-relativistic AdS$_5\times$S$^5$ theory, including twisted sectors, extending known relativistic solutions like BMN and GKP, and explores their semiclassical properties.
Contribution
It introduces classical solutions in non-relativistic AdS$_5\times$S$^5$ string theory, including twisted sectors enabled by a $\\mathbb{Z}_2$ orbifold symmetry, and connects to previous semiclassical analyses.
Findings
Identified non-relativistic analogues of BMN and GKP solutions.
Discovered twisted sector solutions due to orbifold symmetry.
Linked solutions to semiclassical expansion in prior work.
Abstract
We find classical closed string solutions to the non-relativistic AdSS string theory which are the analogue of the BMN and GKP solutions for the relativistic theory. We show that non-relativistic AdSS string theory admits a orbifold symmetry which allows us to impose twisted boundary conditions. Among the solutions in the twisted sector, we find the one around which the semiclassical expansion in arXiv:2102.00008 takes place.
