Moe Isshiki (for the STAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports the first measurements of p-$ ext{Xi}$ and $ ext{Xi}$-$ ext{Xi}$ correlations in Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV, revealing strong attractive and anti-correlation behaviors relevant for hyperon interactions.
Contribution
It presents the first experimental measurements of p-$ ext{Xi}$ and $ ext{Xi}$-$ ext{Xi}$ correlations in heavy-ion collisions, providing new insights into hyperon interactions.
Findings
p-$ ext{Xi}$ correlation shows strong attraction
$ ext{Xi}$-$ ext{Xi}$ correlation is anti-correlated
$ ext{Lambda}$-$ ext{Lambda}$ correlation shows anti-correlation
Abstract
The hyperon-hyperon and hyperon-nucleon interactions are important in search for exotic hadrons such dibaryon as a bound state of two baryons. - correlation has been measured in Au+Au collisions at = 200 GeV at RHIC-STAR experiment using high statistics data recently taken, which has been found to clearly show the anti-correlation. The first measurements of p- and - correlations in Au+Au collisions have been shown. The p- correlation function shows the strong attractive interaction, which is consistent with HAL QCD calculation. - correlation has also been measured to be negative (as anti-correlation).
