TL;DR
This study searches for a new gauge boson $Z'$ in a specific leptonic model using Belle data, setting limits on its coupling and contribution to the muon magnetic moment, with no signal detected.
Contribution
First search for $Z'$ in the $L_ - L_ au$ model at Belle, incorporating initial state radiation effects in efficiency estimation.
Findings
No $Z'$ signal observed in the mass range 0.212--10 GeV/c^2.
Set upper limits on the coupling strength $g'$ of $Z'$.
Constraints on $Z'$ as a contributor to muon g-2 anomaly.
Abstract
We search for a new gauge boson that couples only to heavy leptons and their corresponding neutrinos in the process , using a 643 fb data sample collected by the Belle experiment at or near the resonances at the KEKB collider. For the first time, effects due to initial state radiation are used in estimating the detection efficiency. No signal is observed in the mass range of 0.212 \ -- 10 GeV/ and we set an upper limit on the coupling strengh, , constraining as a possible contributor to the anomalous magnetic dipole moment of muon.
