TL;DR
This paper develops the first complete off-shell superfield actions for free massless higher spin fields in 4D, ${ m N}=2$ supersymmetry, using harmonic superspace to simplify the gauge structure and connect to known supergravity models.
Contribution
It introduces a novel off-shell superfield formulation for ${ m N}=2$ higher spin theories in 4D, unifying gauge supermultiplets with finite degrees of freedom.
Findings
Explicit superfield actions for all massless integer spins ${f s} \,\geq\, 2$
Reduction of infinite degrees of freedom to finite set in WZ gauge
Connection to linearized ${\rm N}=2$ Einstein supergravity for ${\bf s}=2"
Abstract
We present, for the first time, the complete off-shell superfield actions for any free massless integer spin fields, using the harmonic superspace approach. The relevant gauge supermultiplet is accommodated by two real analytic bosonic superfields , and two conjugated complex analytic spinor superfields , , where . Like in the harmonic superspace formulations of Maxwell and supergravity theories, an infinite number of original off-shell degrees of freedom is reduced to the finite set (in WZ-type gauge) due to an infinite number of the component gauge parameters in the analytic superfield…
