A weak pseudo-Hermitian two band model, artificial Hawking radiation and tunneling
Bijan Bagchi, Sauvik Sen

TL;DR
This paper proposes a non-PT-symmetric weakly pseudo-Hermitian two-band model with a tilting parameter to explore artificial Hawking radiation and calculates tunneling probabilities across an event horizon acting as a barrier.
Contribution
It introduces a novel two-band pseudo-Hermitian model with tilting parameter to study artificial Hawking radiation and tunneling phenomena.
Findings
Artificial Hawking radiation can be modeled using the proposed Hamiltonian.
Tunneling probability across the event horizon is derived from the model.
The model reveals new insights into non-Hermitian quantum systems and horizon tunneling.
Abstract
We examine the possibility of artificial Hawking radiation by proposing a non-PT - symmetric weakly pseudo-Hermitian two band model containing a tilting parameter. We also determine the tunneling probability using our Hamiltonian through the event horizon that acts as a classically forbidden barrier.
