Coherent photoproduction of $J/\psi$ in nucleus-nucleus collisions in the color dipole approach- an update
Agnieszka {\L}uszczak, Wolfgang Sch\"afer

TL;DR
This paper updates the color dipole model for coherent $J/$ photoproduction in nucleus-nucleus collisions by incorporating $c ar c g$-Fock states and compares the results with recent ALICE and LHCb data.
Contribution
It introduces the inclusion of $c ar c g$-Fock states into the color dipole approach for $J/$ photoproduction and compares predictions with experimental data.
Findings
The updated model better describes recent experimental data.
Inclusion of $c ar c g$-Fock states improves the understanding of the process.
Results show good agreement with ALICE and LHCb measurements.
Abstract
We discuss the role of -Fock states in the diffractive photoproduction of -mesons. We build on our earlier description of the process in the color-dipole approach, where we took into account the rescattering of pairs using a Glauber-Gribov form of the dipole-nucleus amplitude. We compare the results of our calculations to recent data on the photoproduction of by the ALICE and LHCb collaborations.
