The spectral curve of segmented strings
David Vegh

TL;DR
This paper presents a method to compute the spectral curve of segmented Nambu-Goto strings in AdS3 using celestial embedding variables, advancing understanding of string dynamics in curved spacetime.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to derive the spectral curve for segmented strings in AdS3 through celestial variables, linking geometric embeddings to spectral data.
Findings
Spectral curve can be explicitly computed for segmented strings in AdS3.
The method connects celestial embeddings with spectral data.
Provides a new tool for analyzing string configurations in curved spacetime.
Abstract
I show how to compute the spectral curve of piecewise linear Nambu-Goto strings in three-dimensional anti-de Sitter spacetime in terms of `celestial' embedding variables.
