Identified key barriers to I4.0 adoption in supply chains
Mapped benefits generated by I4.0 technologies in supply chains
Developed a framework linking adoption factors, technologies, and benefits
Abstract
Industry 4.0 technologies is a new paradigm of integration of cyber-physical systems and information and communication solutions. This topic has been vaguely explored in social sciences; hence this study attempts to bridge this gap by investigating adoption process, based on I4.0 technologies. This paper aims to identify the barriers and benefits generated in the Supply Chain through a systematic literature review. The results present a framework that connects adoption factors, enabling technologies of I4.0, and benefits to the Supply Chain. innovations to be adopted.
