TL;DR
This paper derives the Hawking radiation spectrum for anyons, particles with fractional statistics in 2+1 dimensions, from a BTZ black hole using tunneling formalism, and discusses experimental measurement methods.
Contribution
It introduces the derivation of Hawking radiation spectrum for anyons from a BTZ black hole, extending previous work to particles with fractional statistics.
Findings
Derived Hawking spectrum for anyons in (2+1)D
Proposed experimental measurement approaches
Extended tunneling formalism to fractional statistics particles
Abstract
We derive the Hawking radiation spectrum of anyons, namely particles in (2+1)-dimension obeying fractional statistics, from a Ba\~nados, Teitelboim, and Zanelli (BTZ) black hole, in the tunneling formalism. We examine ways of measuring the spectrum in experimentally realizable systems in the laboratory.
