TL;DR
This paper investigates the decay processes of tau leptons into pion and eta mesons within the NJL model, emphasizing meson interactions in the final state to refine theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It introduces the consideration of meson interactions in the final state at the intermediate pion level within the NJL model for tau decays.
Findings
Results are consistent with experimental branching fractions.
Theoretical predictions align with other studies.
Final state interactions do not exceed observed decay rates.
Abstract
The effect of the interaction of mesons in the final state is additionally considered within the description of decays. This interaction is taken into account at the level of production of intermediate pions. One of them, in turn, might be transited into or mesons. Our results do not exceed the experimentally established branching fractions, and they are in agreement with the results of other theoretical studies.
