Satvir Kaur, Narinder Kumar, Jiangshan Lan, Chandan Mondal, Harleen, Dahiya

TL;DR
This paper explores the internal quark structure of light mesons like pions and kaons using a light-cone quark model to analyze their valence quark distributions and generalized parton distributions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to calculate the valence quark distributions and GPDs of light pseudoscalar mesons within the light-cone quark model framework.
Findings
Valence quark distributions of pion and kaon obtained.
Insights into the tomographical structure of light mesons.
Potential implications for understanding meson internal dynamics.
Abstract
In order to investigate the tomographical structure of light pseudoscalar mesons, particularly, pion and kaon, we study the valence quark distribution function (PDF) and the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) using light-cone quark model (LCQM).
