Colomba Brancaccio, Micha{\l} Czakon, Terry Generet, Michael Kr\"amer

TL;DR
This paper calculates the fragmentation functions for Higgs boson production via top-quark fragmentation at a specific perturbative order, enabling improved predictions of differential cross sections and resummation of large logarithms.
Contribution
It derives the relevant splitting functions and provides a framework to compute differential cross sections with arbitrary masses at next-to-leading-logarithmic accuracy.
Findings
Fragmentation functions computed at (y_t^2_s) order.
Derived splitting functions for Higgs production.
Framework for resumming large logarithms in Higgs production.
Abstract
We compute the fragmentation functions for the production of a Higgs boson at . As part of this calculation, the relevant splitting functions are also derived at the same perturbative order. Our results can be used to compute differential cross sections with arbitrary top-quark and Higgs-boson masses from massless calculations. They can also be used to resum logarithms of the form at large transverse momentum to next-to-leading-logarithmic accuracy by solving the DGLAP equations.
