A thermodynamic approach to the T-models
Joan Josep Ferrando, Salvador Mengual

TL;DR
This paper investigates T-models, a class of perfect fluid solutions with specific symmetry properties, using thermodynamics, identifying all compatible thermodynamic schemes and analyzing their physical interpretations.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive thermodynamic analysis of T-models, including all admissible schemes and detailed study of ideal gas solutions, expanding understanding of their physical relevance.
Findings
All thermodynamic schemes compatible with T-models are characterized.
Solutions consistent with the ideal gas law are analyzed in detail.
Some known T-models are given new physical interpretations.
Abstract
The perfect fluid solutions admitting a group G of isometries acting on orbits S whose curvature has a gradient which is tangent to the fluid flow (T-models) are studied from a thermodynamic approach. All the admissible thermodynamic schemes are obtained, and the solutions compatible with the generic ideal gas equation of state are studied in detail. The possible physical interpretation of some previously known T-models is also analyzed.
