Classical string correspondence in $2$ and $3$ spacetime dimensions
G. Aminov

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates a classical string correspondence between solutions in Minkowski and AdS spacetimes, linking a 2D string with massive ends to an accelerating string representing a quark-antiquark pair.
Contribution
It provides an explicit example of the classical string correspondence connecting solutions in Minkowski and AdS spacetimes.
Findings
Established a relation between two classical string solutions
Linked a 2D string with massive ends to an accelerating string in AdS
Illustrated the string correspondence in different spacetime backgrounds
Abstract
We present an example of the string correspondence: a relation between two classical string solutions - one in Minkowski spacetime and another one in the AdS spacetime. The first solution describes a d motion of the string with massive ends and was derived in (https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.13.2364). The second solution is the accelerating string solution in the spacetime and describes a heavy quark-antiquark pair (arXiv:0804.1343).
