Suspended Fixed Points
Andrea Antinucci, Massimo Bianchi, Salvo Mancani, Fabio Riccioni

TL;DR
This paper investigates orientifolds of superconformal field theories from D3-branes at singularities, revealing new IR fixed points with reduced $a$-charges and potential IR dualities related to specific toric singularities.
Contribution
It demonstrates a mechanism for IR fixed points with lower $a$-charges in orientifolded theories and links these to specific toric singularities, suggesting IR dualities.
Findings
Models flow to new IR fixed points with $a$ less than half the original.
The $a$-charge matches the charge of certain orientifolds of toric singularities.
Evidence suggests the existence of IR dualities between these theories.
Abstract
We study the orientifold of the superconformal field theories describing D3-branes probing the Suspended Pinch Point singularity, as well as the orientifolds of non-chiral theories obtained by a specific orbifold of SPP. We find that these models realize a mechanism analogous to the one recently found for the orientifold of the complex Calabi-Yau cone over the Pseudo del Pezzo surface PdP: they all flow to a new IR fixed point such that the value of the -charge is less than half the one of the oriented theory. We also find that the value of coincides with the charge of specific orientifolds of the toric singularities with for even or with for odd, suggesting the existence of an IR duality.
