Abdelkerim Amari, Andre Richter

TL;DR
This paper introduces a multi-dimensional probabilistic shaping technique for digital subcarrier multiplexing systems, enhancing nonlinear tolerance and performance over traditional lower-dimensional formats.
Contribution
It presents a novel multi-dimensional short blocklength probabilistic shaping method that improves nonlinear tolerance in digital subcarrier multiplexing systems.
Findings
Performance improvement over lower-dimensional formats
Enhanced nonlinear tolerance in transmission systems
