Muti-instanton Amplitudes in Type IIB String Theory
Ashoke Sen

TL;DR
This paper calculates the normalization of multi-instanton amplitudes in type IIB string theory and confirms their consistency with S-duality predictions, providing a key check of duality symmetry in string theory.
Contribution
It provides the first explicit computation of multi-instanton amplitude normalizations in type IIB string theory, validating S-duality predictions.
Findings
Multi-instanton amplitude normalization matches S-duality predictions.
Results support the consistency of non-perturbative effects in string theory.
Confirms Green and Gutperle's S-duality conjecture for D-instantons.
Abstract
We compute the normalization of the multiple D-instanton amplitudes in type IIB string theory and show that the result agrees with the prediction of S-duality due to Green and Gutperle.
