O. M. Boyarkin, G. G. Boyarkina, V. V. Makhnach

TL;DR
This paper investigates the muon g-2 anomaly within a left-right symmetric model, focusing on neutrino magnetic moments and their inability to fully explain the observed discrepancy.
Contribution
It calculates neutrino magnetic moment contributions in the left-right symmetric model considering both Majorana and Dirac neutrinos, highlighting their insufficiency to explain the anomaly.
Findings
Heavy neutrino magnetic moments need to be around 10^{-8} μ_B
Theoretical predictions of neutrino magnetic moments are too small
Neutrino magnetic moments cannot fully account for the muon g-2 anomaly
Abstract
The muon anomalous magnetic moment is discussed within the model based on the -gauge group. The contributions of the neutrinos having the dipole magnetic moment (DMM) are calculated. The cases of the Majorana and Dirac neutrino are considered. It is shown that to account for the anomaly DMMs connected with heavy neutrinos should be on the order of , that is at variance with the theoretically predicted values.
