TL;DR
This paper reexamines the classification of excited light vector mesons using Regge trajectories and decay models, proposing new assignments and clarifying inconsistencies in experimental data.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of light vector meson states, suggesting new assignments and resolving previous ambiguities with theoretical models and recent experimental data.
Findings
Inconsistent data of $ ho(2150)$ may include two structures: $ ho(4^3S_1)$ and $ ho(4^3S_1)$.
Possible explanations for the $K^*(2^3S_1)$ assignment issues.
Predictions of missing meson states based on Regge trajectories and decay models.
Abstract
We reanalyze the problems in the assignment of 3 and 4 light mesons, which have not yet been well established with the quark model. Regge trajectories and the decay model are used respectively to study the mass and width of the observed states and predict the missing ones. By comparing our calculations with the latest experiments, we suggest that the inconsistent data of may include two similar structures and . In addition, the problem of the assignment, with two observed states and , is investigated, with several possible explanations.
