Autonomous Driving Data Chain & Interfaces
Benjamin Kahl

TL;DR
This paper reviews interfaces and formats in autonomous driving map data chains, emphasizing how map data enhances sensor data and improves autonomous vehicle performance.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of interfaces and formats used in autonomous driving map data chains, highlighting their roles in data integration and system robustness.
Findings
Identifies key interfaces and formats in map data chains.
Highlights the importance of map data in sensor data enhancement.
Discusses self-healing map data systems.
Abstract
Recent developments in autonomous driving technology have proven that map data may be used, not only for general routing purposes, but also for to enhance and complement common sensor data. This document reviews the most commonly used interfaces and formats at each step of a selfhealing map data chain.
