Curing with hemlock: escaping the swampland using instabilities from string theory
Souvik Banerjee, Ulf Danielsson, Suvendu Giri

TL;DR
This paper explores how instabilities in certain string theory models can help transition from the swampland to the landscape, potentially enabling realistic universe models.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach using swampland instabilities to realize our universe within string theory's landscape.
Findings
Identification of specific instabilities that facilitate escape from the swampland
Proposal of a mechanism for universe realization in string theory
Insight into the structure of the string theory landscape
Abstract
In this essay we will take a wonderful ride on a dark bubble with strings attached, which carries our universe out of the swampland and makes it realizable in the landscape of string theory. To find the way to the landscape, we make use of apparently hostile corners of the swampland and their instabilities.
