Suradej Duangpummet, Jessada Karnjana, Waree Kongprawechnon, Masashi, Unoki

TL;DR
This paper introduces a blind estimation approach utilizing MTF and Schroeder models with CNNs to accurately determine room acoustic parameters and speech transmission index across multiple octave bands.
Contribution
It presents a novel CNN-based method that leverages modulation transfer function and Schroeder models for blind room acoustic parameter estimation.
Findings
Effective estimation of reverberation time in seven-octave bands.
Simultaneous estimation of speech transmission index and five room parameters.
Improved accuracy over existing blind estimation techniques.
Abstract
This paper proposes a blind estimation method based on the modulation transfer function and Schroeder model for estimating reverberation time in seven-octave bands. Therefore, the speech transmission index and five room-acoustic parameters can be estimated.
