TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of the branching fractions for semileptonic decays of the $\\Xi_{c}^{0}$ baryon and the $CP$-asymmetry parameter of a specific decay mode, testing lepton flavor universality and $CP$ violation.
Contribution
It provides the first precise measurement of the asymmetry parameter and tests lepton flavor universality in $\\Xi_{c}^{0}$ decays with improved accuracy.
Findings
Branching fractions for $\\Xi_{c}^{0} o \\Xi^{-} e^{+} u_{e}$ and $\\Xi_{c}^{0} o \\Xi^{-} \\mu^{+} u_{\\mu}$ measured with uncertainties.
Decay parameter $\\alpha_{\Xi\pi}$ measured to be 0.63 with improved precision.
CP asymmetry parameter consistent with zero, indicating no observed $CP$ violation.
Abstract
Using data samples of 89.5 and 711 fb recorded at energies of and GeV, respectively, with the Belle detector at the KEKB collider, we report measurements of branching fractions of semileptonic decays ( or ) and the -asymmetry parameter of decay. The branching fractions are measured to be and , and the decay parameter is measured to be with much improved precision compared to the current world average. The corresponding ratio is $1.03 \pm…
