Saikat Chatterjee, Praphulla Koushik

TL;DR
This paper introduces the concept of topological groupoid extensions, linking them to gerbes over topological stacks, and explores properties of gerbes over Serre, Hurewicz stacks.
Contribution
It defines topological groupoid extensions and connects them to gerbes over topological stacks, advancing the understanding of their properties in this context.
Findings
Established the notion of topological groupoid extensions.
Related extensions to gerbes over topological stacks.
Analyzed properties of gerbes over Serre, Hurewicz stacks.
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the notion of a topological groupoid extension and relate it to the already existing notion of a gerbe over a topological stack. We further study the properties of a gerbe over a Serre, Hurewicz stack.
