Matrix forms of immanant inequalities
Felix Huber, Hans Maassen

TL;DR
This paper translates inequalities and conjectures related to immanants and generalized matrix functions into trace polynomial inequalities within the L"owner order, extending previous results in the field.
Contribution
It introduces a new framework translating immanant inequalities into trace polynomial inequalities in the L"owner order, generalizing prior results.
Findings
Established new trace polynomial inequalities for immanants
Unified various inequalities under the L"owner order framework
Extended previous immanant inequality results
Abstract
We translate inequalities and conjectures for immanants and generalized matrix functions into inequalities in the L\"owner order. These have the form of trace polynomials and generalize the inequalities from [FH, J. Math. Phys. 62 (2021), 2, 022203].
