Noether-Fano Inequalities and Canonical Thresholds on Fano Varieties
Charlie Stibitz

TL;DR
This paper refines Noether-Fano inequalities for birational maps and applies these results to describe canonical thresholds on Fano varieties with Picard number one.
Contribution
It provides a more general and precise formulation of Noether-Fano inequalities and uses this to analyze canonical thresholds on specific Fano varieties.
Findings
Refined Noether-Fano inequalities for Mori fiber spaces
Descriptions of global canonical thresholds on Fano varieties
Enhanced understanding of birational maps between Mori fiber spaces
Abstract
We prove a more general and precise version of the Noether-Fano inequalities for birational maps between Mori fiber spaces. This is applied to give descriptions of global canonical thresholds on Fano varieties of Picard number one.
