TL;DR
This paper analyzes the production cross sections of $ ext{psi}(2S)$ and $X(3872)$ particles from $b$-hadron decays in proton-proton collisions at the LHC, comparing theoretical predictions with experimental data from ATLAS, CMS, and LHCb.
Contribution
It provides a detailed comparison of theoretical cross section calculations with experimental measurements for $ ext{psi}(2S)$ and $X(3872)$ production at different energies.
Findings
Good agreement between theory and experiment for $ ext{psi}(2S)$ production.
Discrepancies observed in $X(3872)$ production cross sections.
Energy dependence of production cross sections analyzed.
Abstract
We study the cross sections for the inclusive production of and hadrons in collisions at the LHC at two different center-of-mass energies and compare with experimental data obtained by the ATLAS, CMS, and LHCb collaborations.
