$\phi$-meson lepto-production near threshold and the strangeness $D$-term
Yoshitaka Hatta, Mark Strikman

TL;DR
This paper introduces a model for exclusive phi-meson lepto-production near threshold, emphasizing the role of the proton's strangeness gravitational form factors and the sensitivity of the differential cross section to the strangeness D-term.
Contribution
The paper presents a novel model linking phi-meson production to the proton's strangeness gravitational form factors, highlighting the differential cross section as a probe of the strangeness D-term.
Findings
Differential cross section shape is sensitive to the proton's strangeness D-term.
Model connects phi-meson production to the proton's gravitational form factors.
Provides a new method to study the proton's strangeness content.
Abstract
We present a model of exclusive -meson lepto-production near threshold which features the strangeness gravitational form factors of the proton. We argue that the shape of the differential cross section is a sensitive probe of the strangeness D-term of the proton.
