Qi Wu, Dian-Yong Chen, Takayuki Matsuki

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the isospin-violating decay processes of X(3872) within a molecular framework, explaining observed decay ratios and predicting new partial width ratios for future experimental verification.
Contribution
It introduces a phenomenological model linking decay ratios to meson loop interference, providing a novel explanation for isospin violation in X(3872) decays.
Findings
The decay ratio matches BESIII measurements.
Predicted partial width ratios for different J states.
Model parameters fixed by experimental decay ratios.
Abstract
In a molecular scenario, we investigate the isospin-breaking hidden charm decay processes of , i.e., , , and . We assume that the source of the strong isospin violation comes from the different coupling strengths of to its charged components and neutral components as well as the interference between the charged meson loops and neutral meson loops. The former effect could fix our parameters by using the measurement of the ratio . With the determined parameter range, we find that the estimated ratio is well consistent with the experimental measurement from the BESIII…
