TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel magnetically induced transparency effect in a helically structured medium, which can be tuned via magnetic field and absorption, offering potential for advanced optical control.
Contribution
It reports the discovery of magnetically induced transparency and demonstrates tunability of the transparency band through external magnetic field and absorption adjustments.
Findings
Observation of magnetically induced transparency in a helically structured medium
Tunable transparency frequency and linewidth via magnetic field and absorption
Potential applications in optical control and photonic devices
Abstract
We report the discovery of a new effect, namely, the effect of magnetically induced transparency. The effect is observed in a magnetically active helically structured periodical medium. Changing the external magnetic field and absorption, one can tune the frequency and the linewidth of the transparency band.
