Diving inside a hairy black hole
Nicol\'as Grandi, Ignacio Salazar Landea

TL;DR
This paper explores the internal structure of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet charged black holes with scalar hair, revealing dynamical behaviors and the absence of a Cauchy horizon, which could shed light on cosmic censorship.
Contribution
It demonstrates that scalar hair can eliminate the Cauchy horizon in charged black holes, challenging traditional no-hair theorems and offering insights into cosmic censorship.
Findings
No Cauchy horizon in the studied black holes
Identification of various dynamical epochs inside the black hole
Implications for the strong cosmic censorship conjecture
Abstract
We investigate the interior of the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet charged black-hole with scalar hair. We find a variety of dynamical epochs, with the particular important feature that the Cauchy horizon is not present. This makes the violation of the no-hair theorem a possible tool to understand how might the strong cosmic censorship conjecture work.
