The Econometrics and Some Properties of Separable Matching Models
Alfred Galichon, Bernard Salani\'e

TL;DR
This paper introduces a class of matching models with transferable utility, focusing on their identification, inference, and comparative statics, providing a framework for analyzing such models in economics.
Contribution
It develops a comprehensive analysis of separable matching models with transferable utility, including identification and inference methods, and simplifies comparative statics analysis.
Findings
Identification and inference methods for separable matching models.
Analytical framework for comparative statics in these models.
Enhanced understanding of properties of transferable utility matching models.
Abstract
We present a class of one-to-one matching models with perfectly transferable utility. We discuss identification and inference in these separable models, and we show how their comparative statics are readily analyzed.
