TL;DR
This paper investigates the rare parity-violating decays of the eta_c(1S) meson into pseudoscalar pairs using perturbative QCD, providing theoretical branching ratio estimates to guide future experiments.
Contribution
It presents the first theoretical calculation of eta_c(1S) to PP' decay branching ratios within the standard model using perturbative QCD.
Findings
Branching ratios are around 10^{-15} or less.
Decays are induced by weak interactions within the standard model.
Results serve as reference for future experimental searches.
Abstract
The decays are the parity violation modes. These decays can be induced by the weak interactions within the standard model, and have been searched for based on the available experimental data. To meet the needs of experimental investigation, the decays are studied with the perturbative QCD approach. It is found that branching ratios are the order of and less, which offers a ready reference for future analyses.
