TL;DR
This paper derives a chiral effective Lagrangian for excited heavy-light mesons from QCD, calculating their spectrum and identifying quantum numbers of specific states, with results aligning with experimental data.
Contribution
It presents a novel derivation of the chiral effective Lagrangian for excited heavy-light mesons directly from QCD, including mass calculations and quantum number assignments.
Findings
Calculated spectrum roughly matches experimental data.
Quantum numbers of B_J(5970) identified as 1^- or 2^-.
Low energy constants and masses derived from QCD approximations.
Abstract
We derive the chiral effective Lagrangian for excited heavy-light mesons from QCD under proper approximations. We focus on the chiral partners with and which amounts to () and () states respectively. The low energy constants including the masses of the chiral partners are calculated. The calculated spectrum for the excited mesons are found roughly consistent with experimental data. In addition, our results indicate that quantum numbers of can be identified with or .
