Takuro Abe, Denis Ibadula, Anca M\u{a}cinic

TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of line arrangements in the plane, focusing on their freeness characteristics, and introduces criteria linking algebraic properties with combinatorial data.
Contribution
It establishes new connections between nearly free arrangements and combinatorics, and provides a Yoshinaga-type criterion for plus-one generated arrangements.
Findings
Relation between nearly free arrangements and combinatorics clarified.
Yoshinaga-type criterion for plus-one generated arrangements established.
Enhanced understanding of freeness properties in line arrangements.
Abstract
By way of Ziegler restrictions we study the relation between nearly free plane arrangements and combinatorics and we give a Yoshinaga-type criterion for plus-one generated plane arrangements.
