L. A. Souza, E. V. Chimanski, and B. V. Carlson

TL;DR
This paper models inclusive alpha particle production in reactions involving $^6$He and $^{6,7}$Li, using a two-body cluster approach and DWBA calculations to interpret experimental data and identify breakup contributions.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed two-body cluster model with DWBA calculations to analyze inclusive breakup cross sections for halo and stable isotopes.
Findings
Good agreement with data for $^{6}$Li and $^{7}$Li reactions.
Complex interpretation needed for $^6$He reactions due to data challenges.
Inclusive breakup emissions are a significant contribution in all studied cases.
Abstract
Calculations of inclusive particle production are performed to interpret reaction experimental data induced by the two-neutron halo He and the isotopes Li on different target nuclei. We have implemented the zero-range post-form DWBA to compute the elastic and nonelastic breakup cross sections. Integrated cross sections, angular distributions and spectra are presented. Projectiles are approximated as two-body clusters, namely He as +dineutron and Li (Li) interpreted as +deuteron(triton). The S\~ao Paulo optical potential is employed in the calculation of the distorted wave functions for the incident channels, while standard phenomenological interactions are used for the fragment-target interactions. Calculations for Li and Li furnish a good description of the data, while the reaction involving He is found to be a…
