Hao-Song Li, Wen-Li Yang

TL;DR
This paper calculates the magnetic moments of spin-1/2 doubly charmed baryons using heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory, including one-loop corrections with intermediate states, providing results useful for future experiments and lattice QCD extrapolations.
Contribution
It introduces a systematic calculation of magnetic moments of doubly charmed baryons at next-to-leading order, incorporating spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 intermediate states within chiral perturbation theory.
Findings
Calculated magnetic moments: μ_{Ξ^{++}_{cc}}=0.35μ_N, μ_{Ξ^{+}_{cc}}=0.62μ_N, μ_{Ω^{+}_{cc}}=0.41μ_N
Includes one-loop corrections with intermediate states
Results aid future experimental and lattice QCD studies
Abstract
We have systematically investigated the magnetic moments of spin- doubly charmed baryons in the framework of the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. In this paper, one loop corrections with intermediate spin- and spin- doubly charmed baryon states are considered. The numerical results are calculated to next-to-leading order: , , . Our results may be useful for future experiment and chiral extrapolation of the lattice QCD.
