TL;DR
This paper clarifies the fundamental structure of bigravity by employing Hamiltonian formalism in tetrad variables, making the theory more understandable and highlighting its relation to General Relativity.
Contribution
It provides a transparent Hamiltonian formulation of bigravity in tetrad variables, elucidating its canonical structure and relation to GR.
Findings
Hamiltonian formalism reveals the structure of bigravity
Tetrad variables simplify the analysis of bigravity
Clarifies the relation between bigravity and GR
Abstract
This work is motivated by an intention to make the theory of bigravity more comprehensible. Bigravity is a modification of the General Relativity (GR), maybe even the most natural one because it is based on the equivalence principle. The Hamiltonian formalism in tetrad variables transparently demonstrates the structure of bigravity
