NLO QCD corrections to the production of top-antitop pairs in association with a W boson including leptonic decays
Ansgar Denner, Giovanni Pelliccioli

TL;DR
This paper calculates next-to-leading order QCD corrections for top-antitop pair production with a W boson, including leptonic decays, off-shell effects, and spin correlations, providing precise predictions for collider experiments.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive NLO QCD corrections to off-shell t-tbar-W production with leptonic decays, including all interferences and spin correlations.
Findings
NLO corrections significantly affect cross-section predictions.
Off-shell effects and spin correlations are crucial for accurate modeling.
Comparison shows differences between full off-shell and double-pole approximation results.
Abstract
We present the QCD radiative corrections to the full off-shell production, considering a final state with three charged leptons, two b jets and missing energy. All interferences, off-shell effects and spin correlations are included in the calculation. Beyond presenting integrated and differential results for the full off-shell process, we compare them with those obtained applying a double-pole approximation to the virtual corrections.
