Seiberg-Witten map Invariant Scatterings
Du\v{s}ko Latas, Josip Trampeti\'c, Jiangyang You

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the invariance of scattering amplitudes under the Seiberg-Witten map in noncommutative QED for various processes and explores their potential to probe noncommutative scales in collider experiments.
Contribution
It explicitly proves Seiberg-Witten map invariance for all tree-level 2-to-2 processes in noncommutative QED and applies these results to collider processes involving photon collisions.
Findings
SW map invariance holds for all studied processes.
Photon-photon scattering is a promising probe for noncommutative scale.
Current collider processes are less sensitive than other probes.
Abstract
We investigate Scattering amplitudes of the reversible -exact Seiberg-Witten (SW) map based noncommutative (NC) quantum electrodynamics, and show explicitly the SW map invariance for all tree-level NCQED proceses, including M\"oller, Bhabha, Compton, pair annihilation, pair production and light-by-light scatterings. We apply our NCQED results to the and exclusive processes, convoluted to the ultraperipheral lead Pb ion-ion collisions, recently measured by the ATLAS collaboration at LHC. We demonstrate that is the more appropriate channel to probe NC scale while both are less efficient than some other probes.
