Localized type I algebras and their entropy in quantum field theories
Heide Narnhofer

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that in quantum field theories satisfying nuclearity conditions, the associated type I algebras enable entropy estimation through nuclearity bounds, linking algebraic structure to thermodynamic properties.
Contribution
It establishes a connection between nuclearity conditions and entropy bounds for type I algebras in quantum field theories, providing a new method for entropy estimation.
Findings
Type I algebras allow entropy bounds under nuclearity conditions
Entropy can be estimated using nuclearity bounds
The approach links algebraic structure to thermodynamic quantities
Abstract
It is shown that under the assumption of the nuclearity condition for local regions the resulting Doplicher-Longo-algebra between two double cones which due to nuclearity is type I allows to estimate its entropy by nuclearity bounds.
