Conrad Gst\"ottner, Bernd Kolar, Markus Sch\"oberl

TL;DR
This paper introduces an algorithmic test to determine if a two-input system can be linearized using a two-dimensional endogenous dynamic feedback, and also provides a method to derive flat outputs for such systems.
Contribution
It presents a novel algorithmic approach for testing linearizability and systematically deriving flat outputs for two-input systems with low-dimensional endogenous dynamic feedback.
Findings
Effective test for linearizability of two-input systems
Systematic procedure for deriving flat outputs
Applicable to systems with at most two-dimensional feedback
Abstract
We propose an algorithmic test to check whether a two-input system is linearizable by an endogenous dynamic feedback with a dimension of at most two. This test furthermore provides a procedure for systematically deriving flat outputs for this class of systems.
