TL;DR
This lattice QCD study investigates coupled $Dar D$ and $D_sar D_s$ scattering in charmonium-like channels, revealing multiple resonances and bound states near thresholds, including potential explanations for experimentally observed states.
Contribution
First lattice QCD analysis of coupled-channel $Dar D$ and $D_sar D_s$ scattering in specific charmonium channels, identifying new states and resonances.
Findings
Discovery of a $Dar D$ bound state just below threshold.
Identification of a narrow $0^{++}$ resonance near $D_sar D_s$ threshold.
Observation of a resonance related to $ ext{X}(3915)$/$ ext{χ}_{c0}(3930)$.
Abstract
We present the first lattice investigation of coupled-channel and scattering in the and channels. The scattering matrix for partial waves and isospin zero is determined using multiple volumes and inertial frames via L\"uscher's formalism. Lattice QCD ensembles from the CLS consortium with MeV, fm and are utilized. The resulting scattering matrix suggests the existence of three charmonium-like states with in the energy region ranging from slightly below up to 4.13 GeV. We find a so far unobserved bound state just below threshold and a resonance likely related to , which is believed to be . In addition, there is an indication for a narrow resonance just below the threshold with a large…
