Continuous PPG-Based Blood Pressure Monitoring Using Multi-Linear Regression
Serj Haddad, Assim Boukhayma, Antonino Caizzone

TL;DR
This paper introduces SB-BPM, a novel method for continuous blood pressure monitoring using only PPG signals and pulse wave analysis from multiple body locations, eliminating the need for traditional cuff-based devices.
Contribution
The study presents a new PPG-based algorithm that estimates blood pressure continuously without additional sensors, advancing non-invasive monitoring technology.
Findings
Accurate estimation of SBP and DBP from PPG signals
Effective pulse wave analysis across multiple body locations
Potential for cuffless, continuous blood pressure monitoring
Abstract
In this work, we present the Senbiosys blood pressure monitoring algorithm (SB-BPM) that solely requires a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal. The technology is based on pulse wave analysis (PWA) of PPG signals retrieved from different body locations to continuously estimate the systolic blood pressure (SBP) and the diastolic blood pressure (DBP).
