Xiaohuang Hu, Yue Tan, Jialun Ping

TL;DR
This paper investigates newly observed $\\Xi_c^0$ states using a chiral quark model, exploring three- and five-quark structures to identify potential resonance candidates and compare with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive analysis of $\\Xi_c^0$ states with both three- and five-quark configurations using the chiral quark model and Gaussian expansion method.
Findings
2$S$ states of $\Xi_c'$ and $\Xi_c$ match experimental results
Resonance states of five-quark configurations are potential candidates for new states
Decay widths of these states are calculated
Abstract
Recently, three new states of were observed in the invariant mass spectrum of by LHCb collaboration. In this work, we use a chiral quark model to investigate these three exited states with the help of Gaussian expansion method both in three-quark structure and in five-quark structure with all possible quantum numbers , , , , and . The calculations shows that the 2 states of and are comparable to experimental results; In addition, the resonance states of five-quark configuration are possible candidates of these new states with negative parity by using the real scaling method and their decay width are also given.
