A large deviation principle in many-body quantum dynamics
Kay Kirkpatrick, Simone Rademacher, Benjamin Schlein

TL;DR
This paper establishes large deviation principles for fluctuations in many-body quantum dynamics within the mean-field regime, extending the understanding of quantum fluctuations beyond central limit theorems.
Contribution
It introduces large deviation estimates for quantum fluctuations around Hartree dynamics, connecting them with existing central limit theorems.
Findings
Fluctuations satisfy large deviation estimates.
Results are consistent with known central limit theorems.
Enhances understanding of quantum fluctuation behavior.
Abstract
We consider the many-body quantum evolution of a factorized initial data, in the mean-field regime. We show that fluctuations around the limiting Hartree dynamics satisfy large deviation estimates, that are consistent with central limit theorems that have been established in the last years.
