Mono-top signature from stop decay at the HE-LHC
Xu-Xu Yang, Hang Zhou, Tian-Peng Tang, Ning Liu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential to detect single top squark production at the HE-LHC, focusing on mono-top signatures in leptonic and hadronic decay channels within a simplified MSSM framework.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of mono-top signatures from single stop production at the HE-LHC, highlighting the discovery potential in different decay channels.
Findings
Leptonic mono-top channel can exclude stop masses up to 1900 GeV.
Hadronic mono-top channel can exclude stop masses up to 1200 GeV.
The analysis demonstrates the HE-LHC's sensitivity to SUSY parameters in this scenario.
Abstract
Searching for the top squark (stop) is a key task to test the naturalness of SUSY. Different from stop pair production, single stop production relies on its electroweak properties and can provide some unique signatures. Following the single production process , the top quark has two decay channels: leptonic channel and hadronic channel. In this paper, we probe the observability of these two channels in a simplified MSSM scenario. We find that, at the 27 TeV LHC with the integrated luminosity of , GeV and GeV can be excluded at through the leptonic mono-top channel, while GeV and GeV can be excluded at through the hadronic channel.
