Fisheye lens distortion correction
Dmitry Pozdnyakov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new distortion correction algorithm for fisheye lenses that is more accurate and data-efficient than traditional models, improving image correction quality.
Contribution
The paper presents a novel distortion correction algorithm specifically for fisheye lenses with equidistant mapping, outperforming classical methods.
Findings
Higher accuracy in distortion correction
More data lossless than classical models
Improved image correction quality
Abstract
A new distortion correction algorithm for fisheye lens with equidistant mapping function is considered in the present study. The algorithm is much more data lossless and accurate than such a classical approach like Brown-Conrady model
